Mini Video Game

Here is a little game that we made for the Global Game Jam 2013, the world’s largest game jam event. We arrived in third position in the Barcelona Game Jam. We had only 48h, from Friday 5p.m. to Sunday 3p.m then the game presentation. This year, the theme wasn’t a word or an image but a sound, a heart beating, and one of the requirement was not to show any violence, not even cartoonish.Our idea was to create a game based on the music rythme and inspired by the horse racing games in fairs. The player is merged in an endurance race where his cross-breed avatar has to move following the tempo. This game allows multiplayer online.

So it’s your go now !You have to tap the key SPACE at the same time of the beat in the song. In the race you play simultaneously with all the people online.

Pako o el retrato de un verdadero hedonista.

Originario de Montdragon, en el País Vasco, Pako saca su carácter enérgico con mucho placer por la vida y con una personalidad fuerte. En definitiva un buen ‘viva la Virgen’ de los placeres simples de la vida. Un gourmet que ama las cosas buenas: el buen vino, la gastronomía, la conversación y por supuesto las mujeres.

Vino a Barcelona para aprovecharse de los mejores conciertos y así cultivar su gran pasión, la música. Un poco fetichista a veces, con su pequeña colección de zapatos originales para hombres.

Pero ante todo una persona honesta y sensible. Un espíritu libre que quiere hacer lo que quiera.

Animation 3D

Feliz Navidad a todos! Merry Christmas and Joyeux Noël à tous!
This is my first 3d animation. It took me 3 weeks during my spare time. The render took around 10hours.
I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of my boyfriend Javi Agenjo and obvioulsy THE Internet!!
To make this animation, I´ve been inspired by the work of Beeple and especially by the video « Subprime », an incredible construction and deconstruction of houses with simple 3d shapes. All the objects in 3D have been made with Cinema4D. Then I exported the frames in After Effects to correct the color, add some glow to the brightest parts and some particles.
The tricky part was to make the glow following the letters in C4d and export it on AE.
